They carefully cut away the ropes and debris, speaking softly and reassuringly to me as they worked.
With every freed fin, I felt a sense of relief wash over me.
Together, we slowly made our way back to the open waters, where I could finally swim freely once more.
I'll never forget the kindness of these strangers who gave me a second chance at life."
